I Suggest that you spawn with a hatchet.

Ive only had the game for a couple of week's, Ive had to spawn with out a weapon so many time's ive lost count.

The Good:

The good thing about this, is that agro a zombie isent the end of that life, You can simply hack it to death and been on your way!

But you can still take damage because you have to get up close to kill a zombie.

The Bad:

You can still be killed by zombie's but its easy to survive but not that much!

Bandits can still kill you too but to be honest if a bandit see's you, your probably going to die anyway.

Hopefully you can expand on my idea.

I say crowbars would be better. That way even a hatchet would be a step up, but you could still kill that ONE zombie that chases you, that you can't do anything about. Even a "trip zombie and GTFO before he stands up" button would be appreciated.

but seriously, hatchets are so easy to find, and so are other weapons if you know what you are doing.
