m2n2l2 0 Posted July 3, 2012 When moving in groups, your visibility meters should go up. Two people moving in a party are easier to spot than one. They also make more noise.
baq99 0 Posted July 3, 2012 ah, I thought you meant when you are in a group of mates you should be able to see each other. I found I often lost people quite easily. But yeah, would make people spread out a bit like in arma formations.
harryzhe 28 Posted July 3, 2012 er, how is group travel not already enough of a threat? if retards stick real close it'll be their loss when a single guy with an auto can easilly cut them all down, or one of them being spotted implicitly reveals all of them. They shouldnt have a hud indicator to hold their hand and tell them what theyre doing wrong? m2n2l2 0 Posted July 3, 2012 It has zero to do with the hud and 100% to do with the way groups interact with the world and how hostile they get treated by, say, mob of zeds.I'd say that's pretty much the solution for the stupid forceware teamplay vs. solosurvivalism. It's plain stupid to get attacked like you were group of 6 men when you are doing nothing but minding your own business and trying to reach for that can of beans that's going to take your hunger away. baq99 0 Posted July 4, 2012 Yeah, 2 different subjects here. Running in a group would cause more noise but I guess that is already in the game. Each person having their own noise and sight meter. The name tags on groups was just so you could instantly recognise someone in your group. Would be useful for loads of things. Say you have 5 friends in the group and you want to give an item to one of them without studying them to find out who is who to mention just one. Adds a little cohesion to the group. Knowing where your group is is one of the things you have to learn in RL.
