Constructive PvP suggestions (bandit point of view)

1. This is a big one... I know this helps with optimization but is there any way that zombies stay around and do not just spawn when players are near. This mechanic greatly affects PvP and makes things easy as well as hard. You will always know when a player is around and players will also know if you are around.

It makes things hard and easy and eliminates the element of surprise. Is there in way to fix this without hurting performance.

2. Insert local world wide chat ONLY channel. Me and several others want to talk smack after we PWN a noob and not having a server chat channel takes less fun out of it. I am sure several agree with me here and this would also help the community. As well as cause good laughs when one sees the nerd rage.

There are a finite number of zombies which can spawn due to engine/server/client limitations. As the mod is optimized this number will only grow but those limitations are why the zeds work the way they presently do.

I can think of a number of reasons why global chat could be desireable, talking smack is not among them...

Pretty sure increasing the distance that the zombies begin to spawn would have a similar effect. I remember reading someone posting that most servers run around 800m view distance so if zombies spawned 800m you wouldn't be able to just scout out a town for zombies to see if anyone's home.

1. Because travelling in groups exist, your suggestion wouldn't really work as simply being with a friend will make zombies not spawn anymore.

2. Really? That's your reason.
