Hatchet and other hand held weapons

Melee weapons i believe would work better if you could bring them up just as you would for road flairs or chems. I believe this would benefit the smoothness of game play as in the current state players need to drop their main weapon ( Risking weapons to bug out and de-spawn) It would also allow more utility within the game and would encourage players to explore towns more because they do not need to risk massive zombie pulls and do not need to decide between having a AK or a hatchet.
