Backing Up DayZ

Im upgrading my tower (ASUS P8Z77, and i7 2600 ing pumped) and so i will need to install a new copy of Windows. I have 'Backed up Game Files...' via Steam. But im not sure this is gonna cover the DayZ mod. How do i keep my shit?

I guess ill look for a tent in the meantime.

As far as I understand, your progress is tied to Hive and your CD-key (in this case, your steam account).

I may be wrong though.
