Hello, I have a few suggestions regarding the M65 Jacket and clothing in general in DayZ...

1. Change the color of the Olive M65 Jacket. As many of you know there are four variants of the M65 in-game. Black, Tan, Khaki, and Olive. The first three look good in my opinion, but I think the fourth one (Olive) is bad. It is a somewhat bright green color. This is often too bright for effective camouflage (and it just looks kind of weird in the setting), and the color is overall very similar to the Khaki variant. Thus, I suggest that the Olive variant have its color changed. Olive Drab military gear normally has a pale green, slightly greyish color. This is what I think the Olive M65 Jacket should look like.

2. Keep the spawns how they are. By this I mean having them spawn rarely but mostly in civilian locations (maybe increase rarity a bit). If you approach it from a perspective of realism, a military jacket like this would probably mostly be owned by civilians in a place like Chernarus. And military jackets like this are actually bought by civilians fairly commonly (although maybe not this specific jacket as much). Also from the standpoint of balance/looting, this means that there is actually high-end civilian loot that is better than the military equivalent in some way, which should be how the game is balanced in my opinion. Possibly reduce the insulation of the jacket or make it rarer to balance it better.

3. Patches. I'm sure this has been said before, but in real life it is very common for military uniforms to have patches indicating the owner's affiliations, allegiances, et cetera. These patches are fairly easy to sew on most jackets and come in many different designs. If you find some sort of advanced sewing kit or something you could even design a unique patch. A system such as this gives great potential to customize one's gear, giving the personalized clothing a greater value to the player. Some examples:

where do these magical patches come from ?

I'd imagine collecting patches wouldn't be of the highest priority for most survivors early on (i.e. the people that looted most of the stuff before we show up), so they would be found fairly commonly and often in large amounts in clothing and military surplus stores, sewing factories, and military bases and some homes as well. And like I said above, even if they aren't spawning it is possible to create a custom patch.

Also: the first two questions of the poll have been altered slightly, please look and change your answers if applicable.
