Look. the problem with that skin was once you had it, you couldn't get rid of it. even if you wanted to try being friendly, you couldn't because people could always kill you with no penalty. Besides that, with the addition of different clothing, the bandit skin could easily be covered. I'm glad the whole Karma system is gone. Part of the game is real human reaction. It's more fun to react to something questionable and unknown than something easy to discern as a bandit or an innocent.

we dont want the bandit skin back, though it many ways it might be preferable to the current situation.

What we want is a more sophisticated and subtle system but which ultimately achieves the same thing, i.e. allowing friendly players to trust each other and build a team.
