"Bad serial number given in setup" wth am i doing wrong?

i purchased ArmA 2 OA and i have all the DaYZ patches installed and i will get as far as the first loading screen then it says i gave a bad serial number in setup. please somebody help me out.

Did you run Operation Arrowhead at least once through steam as a Administrator? If not try that and it should fix your problem.

i did that and an error popped up saying "no entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGamesUI/MPTable.shadow'" then the screen goes black and then a second error message appears saying "Error

compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlpha;0
