Server restarts and vehicle locations

Lately some friends and I have been raiding a tent city with multiple vehicles (for about 3 days now). We have left each time we raid with usually 3 or so vehicles. Every time we have taken vehicles there has been a server restart shortly afterwards. We usually log in shortly after the restart to check on the vehicle status, and they always disappear. The loot that we removed from the vehicles did remain in our tents. Vehicles were saved multiple times by multiple people.

Yesterday, we raided this tent city and left with a V3S, offroad truck and a car. We brought them 5km east into the northern forest to unload them, since we figured they would just disappear once again. We had the vehicles parked right up where our tents were then as usual, the server was restarted. WE rejoined the server immediately as it came back up, were the first ones in the server. All 3 vehicles were gone. The time has also changed, was morning now and prior to the restart it was the evening. Shortly afterwards (about 10 minutes) we were taken to the screen with the scoreboard where you only have option to disconnect or hit "im ready". There was a 45 second timer here couting down that said timeout. I believe the server was restarted again, this time we came in as soon as the server came up again and the vehicles had returned. The time has also changed again, it was now very dark in the night.

The main reason I share this story is that It seems that something is not functioning properly. My friends and I aren't sure if this is normal, a bug or perhaps admin abuse (not really sure what admins can do).

Another thing that we noticed is that when this occurs the vehicles we stole end up back at the camp we stole them from, with the same items that were left in them. WE had gone to check the camp 3 times to see if the vehicles had returned there after a restart, and each tiem they did.

I took several screenshots on our last trip to raid this camp, as well as screenshots of the vehicles at our encampment for what it's worth.

So what do you guys think is the cause of this?

Does sound like admin abuse just straight off (admins can restart the server), but has this happened exactly EVERY single time you've raided the camp?

Screenshot of their camp? I have seen weird stuff like this on a certain Seattle server...

Just to make sure you understand what admins can and cannot do, keep in mind while an admin can restart a server, they cannot reverse what has happened. Yes the hour of the day can be set forward or back, but what happened cannot be reversed. As long as you saved the vehicles, they SHOULD be where you left them when you saved.

Yep every time. Vehicles always returned to the hill behind they're camp

These are just a couple of the screenshots I have about 10, the camp was fairly spread out, easily 20 tents.

Yeah I understand that I just don't understand hwo after 1 restart the vehicles disappeared, then a restart 10 minutes later made them reappear.

What about items looted from the tents? Do they appear again? Also, do they have weapons not in the game? I came across a couple tents that had ammo boxes with like 5 of every rare gun in the game, as well as many that aren't. I packed around a G36SD for a long time before I found out it wasn't legit and dropped it so as not to be banned lol

The items that we looted from tents stayed in our possession. WE also removed some items from teh vehicles that we kept. Anything we left in the vehicles, were still in the vehicles when we returned to raid they're camp. They also don't seem to care that we are stealing they're stuff since last time we went there, there was a fresh stock of hard to get stuff as well as at least another 10 tents deployed.

The weapons seemed legit, although there was lots of them. Found a tent with 31 ghillies.

Saved them all multiple times while unloading them.

Vehicles disappearing and reappearing is a server restart bug.

Sometimes when a server restarts, the vehicles and tents don't all load right, and another restart is required to correct this problem.

This is pretty common knowledge, or so I thought...
