stuck at waiting for host/character to create

hi

i have been stuck at the waiting for host and waiting for character to create screen for two days i have been looking around but haven't found any answers

Things i have tried

Re-downloading everything

manually installed and automatically installed dayz.

Waiting alooooong time for it to join

joining many servers to see if they work.

can someone please help me and give me some answers

Im having the exact same problem, also tried reinstalling battleeye.

you can't connect because the main server who is hosting profiles's files are broken atm.

there not broken they're being DDOSED

The servers are all down because of a attack. There will be no solid time for when it will come up. It can range from a few minutes to hours. For now, just play another game till it's up.

I still getting "Waiting for host" why? cann somebody pls help me? i cound play for 5 min. and now i cant
