Knocked out??

Hey all

How dose the knock out thing work? Ive had my guy pass out before. But for the first time I had all the gear I wanted any was leaving the city and a zombie hit me once and knocked me out for long enough for it to take me from 10000 blood to dead....I was pissed lol.. How dose this work so I can try to avoid it next time?

It's called shock, its the white symbol above the broken bone icon, log out with it and you pass out for 5 minutes. No cure, no way getting rid of it except waiting for the timer to pass.
