Damaged Gaming has revived from death, they are running an awesome overpoch server (thrust me, this server is not the same as the other ones, try it) with awesome people and groups playing on it that are very helpful especially with new people coming to the server, admins are gonna help you everytime you need help with something and if they are not in-game go to their TS and they will talk with you ;)

It's very cool to see my community members taking initiative and advertising our server.  For a little background information, I am Scott, the owner of Damaged Gaming.  About six months ago, I was hosting two DayZ Overpoch servers, one of which was in the top ten, and the other in the top twenty DayZ Mod servers on GameTracker.  Due to a lack of time because of real life responsibilities and a large, targeted attack on our servers from hackers, we were forced to shut down.

 

Now, we are back with a full, dedicated administration team.  Myself, and my lead administrator have backgrounds in programming and server administration.  We also have 6 other active in-game administrators from different time-zones who are always around to help.  I, myself, have been a part of the DayZ community for years, and I have even released many of my own open-source DayZ addons that you probably see on a lot of the servers you play on.

 

We are hosting our server on a powerful dedicated machine from Nuclear Fallout, and we have plenty of resources to open more servers when necessary.  Here are the specs:

• Intel Xeon E3-1271v3 processor (four physical 3.6ghz cores on QPI + hyperthreading + turbo->4.0ghz.
• 32 GB DDR3-1600 ECC memory.
• 240 GB SSD and 2000 GB, 7200 RPM SATA hard drive.
• 36000 GB of bandwidth transfer.
• 1000 Mb/s upload and download.

I've been playing on this server with a friend and it's awesome.  The new AI is crazy good, definitely keeps you on you toes.  And all of the admins seem to know their stuff and are usually on, at least when I've been playing

#1 admins are flying around killing new players in helis.

#2 question their judgement once you get banned like me.

#3 no missions what so ever.

 

they fly around with godmode vehicles all the time

 

Okay.  I am not sure who this guy is affiliated with, but he decided to join our server and troll for no apparent reason.  Also, just to reply to the points he made:

 

1. There is one admin on (me) and I am AFK in my base working on my mission file.

2. He posted this before he ever got banned.  He posted about "getting banned like him" before we had any interaction with him.  He posted at 9:21 PM and wasn't banned until 9:26 PM.

3. We have AI missions and events from multiple addons, and they are running perfectly fine.

 

Again, I am not sure what made this guy decide to troll us, but he also just joined our TS after being banned and said, "Hey Scott.  Are you going to talk to me, or are you too scared?"  Sooooo...yeah, this guy is just a laughable troll.  I hope no one bothers to take anything he says as the truth.

Also, our reasoning for not allowing Squad URLs is because if they are not configured properly they can cause issues on servers.  This is documented in multiple DayZ related threads.

Wow...... well i've been with DG for quite some time and can say the admins have always been fair as far as i've seen, and all the rules are clearly stated on the login screens. As for missions there are more missions then then any other servers i've played on and the custom scripts are nothing short of epic, anyone with any question should login and see it for themselves.......
