First I would like to thank you for viewing our recruitment post. We are new to recruiting for DayZ and happy to increase our community with like minded gamers looking to have a little more fun with DayZ than the normal loot survive, kill. Keep in mind when reading this we still do public hive of normal DayZ experience, not just the Private shard fun.

 

Little about The Bro Code Gaming:. We have been around for a couple years now, usually with a small to medium amount of friends on WoW and games we like to play. Now we are expanding into a real community, and we want you.

 

Our DayZ community is a fresh start to our expansion and we have BRILLIANT ideas for the community. We are all DayZ veterans, mod and Stand Alone. We know how to play and always willing to teach new players and take advice from veteran players as well. So don’t expect us to be mean strict people, We are all Bros.

 

How we play:

We will be playing on a private hive for the roleplaying segment of the community and the official hive for an all community grouping. Yes we will also be playing on official servers for the fun and excitement of the hunt and PvP. :) The first thing you do is join our website get access to the DayZ community of The Bro Code. from there you have access to our TeamSpeak, Servers, and the option to join a faction (Factions fight on private hive for world domination)!

 

Join the website and get access to our DayZ community to learn more about the factions and how you can rise through the ranks to lead your own squad into battle on our private hive. Or join the DayZ community to play with us on the official hive servers for the normal dayz experience. the choice is yours.

Factions:

On our private hive the world is split into territories and we hold claiming events for cities along borders of the territories to be Claimable. at the end of the claiming day the faction who holds superiority over that city is declared owner of the city and the territory it has. Each faction is player ran and only moderated by admins/mods.

Apocalyptic Army: Modernized military, uses Chain of Command

The Anarchist: rebel group, more guerilla style fighting.

 

Teamspeak:

We use it and so should you. If you're playing with us, your playing on Teamspeak, very simple. It’s a gaming necessity.

 

Basic Rules:

1. Bros don’t kill other bros unless in faction servers.

   1. To caveat on above, If a bro kills another bro bring it up to an officer, and appropriate action will be taken and you get to hunt that bro down as revenge.

2. Looting with a group, call out what you find to help everyone out.

3. Don’t give out camp locations <- we use Izurvive.com as a basic map with pin points of locations

4. Don’t steal from other bros

5. come across another player while with a group? follow our ROEs (Rules of Engagment) we like to hold them up, handcuff rope whatever you got and remove all deadly weapons to the floor. If he gives attitude well he shouldn’t have been caught. Any resistance weapons free boys.

6. Playing on our Faction server you must follow all RolePlay rules. some of these include staying in character, squad, following commands. and enjoying the experience. Don’t like your squad leader bring it to your platoon leader and request getting promoted to lead your own squad. We offer a bunch of opportunities and it’s all player ran, only moderated for rules by admins.

 

Process of signing up:

Heres a quick rundown of how it works. We don’t accept applicants replying to this recruitment post/thread. Go to our website linked above and register. We require all members who are new to apply for The Bro Code community. Becoming a bro gives access to our TeamSpeak and information so not everyone gets that.

Then once your application is complete you just hit our link in forums to apply to games and choose the game you want. We then ask you to get on TeamSpeak and we quiz you on the rules of that game (real easy and you can study too). After that is done you will get your usergroup added for that game and the TeamSpeak group added to begin playing!
