Game won't start [Black screen, need to restart pc]

Hi,

 

with the following rig:

 

Gigabyte Z97X-UD3-BK

Xeon E3-1231 V3

Geforce GTX 970

4 x 2 Gb RAM Gskill

 

Using Windows 7 64x, whenever I try to launch the game from Steam the screen goes black and nothing happens. The only solution is to restart the PC. I have already verified the game cache.

Okay, I fixed this starting the game in windowed mode.
