Memory leak?

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Ok basically my game runs smooth as a babies bottom for roughly 30-35 mins and then it will slowly start to stutter, gradually getting worse to the point i can no longer move my character. So i have to close DayZ down to desktop and re-launch. This has happened since the 0.54 patch and continues in 0.55

ive tried the basic instructions other ppl have mentioned on the forums but still no joy :(

If anyone is or has had the same problem and knows of a fix can you please mention it on here

Thanks in advance!

Steam>Dayz>GameProperties>SetLaunchOptions and put this -nosplash -noPause -cpuCount=4 -maxMem=8192 -exThreads=3 -maxVram=1024 -malloc=system -winxp

-nosplash and -nopause have been depricated.

If you experience a crash on launch, -winxp is a common cause.

Since the OP does not provide any hardware details, the other recommendations may not be compatible with his rig.
