Ever since the 0.55 update, I haven't been able to start dayz. Prior to making this post, i've done some research and solutions, but none of them work. I've run steam as administrator, doesn't work. Run both dayz applications as administrator, doesn't work. I reinstalled and still nothing happens.

 

If anyone has had the same problem please post the solution below.

try uninstalling and reinstalling steam

If I do, I will have to reinstall 22 games, a frankly,I don't have time to reintall all the games. So is there possibly another solution?

move your steamapps folder away and move it back after reinstalling, then verify game files? Maybe that'll work.
