It would have been better if you properly used the "how do you like them apples?" quote by actually asking "would you like some apples?" or "do you like apples?" before giving the punchline, instead of saying "here are some apples" and then "how do you like them apples." Without asking them if they would "LIKE" some apples, the joke doesn't quite work.

 

Still funny though.
