llama_shockz 0 Posted March 19, 2015 so about 4 days ago i went on steam to play day z now ive had no problems in the past with startups but when i click play iit says lauching in the little window as usual and then nothing the little thing in the bottom right corner which turns green if youre ingame goes green for like 5 seconds then goes blue its the same problem with both games and both games did work before i cant launch the battleye setups for some reason i just get the black window options i have tried reinstalling like 50 timeslaunching as adminverifying cache (says no problems/files successfully validated)running steam as admin(probbably a few more) http://gyazo.com/5862535de711924b728bb6b4e63c0d55this is what typically happens Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

How do I fix this?Please try the following things:Ensure that there is no d3d9.dll or dsound.dll file in your game directory. If there is one please remove/rename it.Ensure that you have a legitimate copy of Windows.
