I believe on recruit servers and ONLY recruit servers there should be a starting weapon, make it weak and have little ammo... but just enough to take out zeds around a deerstand to get that first weapon.

You people that don't want a starting weapon can just go elsewhere :/ I think you might be suprised at how full the recruit servers will be, and how long the waiting list will be. So maybe even recruit + regular.

Most people on the forums are the seasoned players who can easily get a weapon without getting zeds aggro.

Are you stupid, or just terrible? Deer stands are just about the *easiest* structure to loot without aggroing zombies.

People will take advantage of this and join the recruit server then leave. They could carry it over -1 just get better at the game and learn the mechanics its not hard to get a gun.

It's a good thing you guys started with a weapon when you first started isn't it ^^, but this isn't for me, it's for the noobs. I am well set, I have an M16... which i know I will lose, and I know i can regain.

Or atleast have noobs start out with a hatchet or something ^^. I wouldn't go into the middle of an apocalypse without a weapon.

I agree ^^ a crowbar or a hatchet. Something that wouldn't be easy to pvp with. Or the weakest gun there is but... whatever.
