Is there a way to circumvent the "weapon sheath/unsheathe" bug?

I'm mainly playing solo or with a single friend, and sometimes we are in positions where we can't see each other, I think I've been spotted a couple of times when I've gotten into the infamous weapon sheath/unsheathe animations as a result we were in an unfairly inferior position. So the question I'm asking is - can you manually do something to prevent this from happening, ever? 

 

P.S. I play only 1PP so I can't go in 3PP to look at my char.

Going into 3rd person wouldn't show your character doing the glitch. As far as I know it's a lag issue. I believe that one fi is to go prone, and put away your weapon for a few seconds, then stand up, and take it back out.

Only way to know in my experience is if someone tells you that you are bugged. To make it stop just change weapons. I noticed that a friend of mine would go in animation fuck up when he got in his hands anything that wasn't a melee or fire weapon, can't confirm all this thou.
