Hello,

I am kinda new to dayz but not new into server hosting.

I been hosting l4d1-2 servers and a big Minecraft server, and some random private game server.

So my goal with dayz is making the biggest server in the world ( no troll -_-)

My questions would be how many slots can handle this game/mod, and the hardware it would take.

My minecraft server cost me about 800$ per months. 500 slots ( I dont have it anymore got tired of mc)

So ya I just wanna know what is possible and not possible.

Think 100 slots is max not 100% sure

Due to this mod still being in Alpha, 50 is the maximum that is recommended. I've seen servers raise that cap but I can not guarantee stability.

Well thanks for the help I appreciate it, I will still see what I can do with dayz I had the idea of making a 300slots or more I think the map would handle it.

The server sure would need to be powerfull but that not the biggest problems.
