plz help me i want to play so much love this game game freeze

game freezes for infinite when i click play in main menu and goes to the servers and if i click on anything for example cancel refresh or something it freezes and i cant close the game not even whith that ctrl+alt+delete thing i need to restart my computer and i just bought this game and i want to play it so badly seen a lot of videos of it and finally bought it  myself so if u find a solution to this problem u would be my god.

Use this launch parameter "-oldui" 

it will fix it :)

 

Edit: If you don't know how to use a launch parameter in steam, follow this :

 

1. Right click on DayZ in steam

2. under general tab, you will find a button named "set launch options...", click on it.

3. a textbox shou up, copy/past "-oldui"

Ops,i thought it's the problem with the new UI it seem i'm wrong anyways if it doesn't work, your next move is validating your game data.

i can't think of anything else, so your best chance is heading to feedback tracker and send a ticket:

 

 feedback.dayzgame.com

 

i'm so tired right now, there was a launch option which create a log from your game, do some searching and you will found it, and attach those logs to your ticket.

1. Remove all launch options for dayz in steam

 

2. delete this dayz folder C:\Users\Franzuu\Documents\DayZ

 

3. verify game files in steam.

 

4. try to play the game

If the game crashes when you click play, then you need to submit a crash report.
