Everything Almost Black and White

I just got the game and the colors are almost black and white in the middle of the day. It has gotten to the point where it is almost impossible to tell a tree from a person. The settings are all default, and the colors go back to normal in the setup menu. Please can someone tell me how to fix this

What is your Blood status? Loss of blood effects the way the game is displayed. The game slowly washes out its color as you get weaker and weaker.
