Advanced archery

Recommended Posts

Hey, there was not much of an improvement regarding archery in DayZ. And as a freshly started archer I would love to have more focus on it.

1) if the pulled bow was more accurate for a short amount of time, then started to sway more and more

2) learning curve - the more you shoot, the more steady and accurate your shots are

3) different kind of bows - reflex and so on.

4) it should not kill big animals in one shot. ... And maybe more

1) Seems like a good idea.

2) Skills are not planned so far (maybe in the late stage of development)

3) Wait till bows are optimized, then more will come for sure (Bows are in development right now).

4) That's a balance issue and an issue with animal behavior (wounded, scared), so we have to wait at least for the new animation system and a finalized animal AI (new one coming up). I think they'll make it realistic when the time has come. Right now it would just be a waste of time, because so much is changing right now.
