Dxtory will not record DayZ

Recommended Posts

I have recorded DayZ before, but now when I try to get Dxtory to work in DayZ it doesnt, like when I go into DayZ with Dxtory open that FPS Counter is not there. It's like Dxtory can not recognise that I have DayZ open. Any help?

Ever since 0.53 patch? I know WOBO was saying he had to switch from Action to Shadowplay since the last patch becuase of a conflict.

Because of a confliction between this patch and my recording software(Action!), I'm forced to use Shadowplay for now. You'll probably notice a slight lack in quality because of this.

Maybe the same thing?

It's possible that it's not working due to the newer anti-cheat system.

I use Action, albeit only very infrequently as I have not yet spent any time optimising my FPS whilst recording with it.

Recently, I have updated DayZ to 0.53, applied an update to Action itself and also to my anti-virus software, which is AVG.

After these 3 updates I noticed that the Action "HUD" was missing.

Managed to get it back by going into AVG advanced settings, then shell extensions and releasing the 2 Action files listed there.

Mentioning it here in case it helps anyone with a similar issue...
