BadAsh (DayZ) 1513 Posted February 9, 2015 (edited) If I put my goodfaith hat on then I would say that they were not cheaters, but pretty pro bandits, their ability to track you in that first part of the video was quite remarkable. I would also think that the guy you followed at the end and who most likely get you was probably the ghillie sniper spawning in right beside you when you only had the bow, and that he was part of their group doing overwatch, most likely the guy who shot your mate earlier and which they mentioned ("a friend of ours", so it likely wasn't any of those three that robbed you). It also seemed that their was a lot of movement around the house at the time that you got shot, probably the team coming to reinforce him. It was somewhat of a bold move of you, even if you had elevation on your side, to go that close and that much out in the open, when you knew it was a very aware and experienced sniper you were up against. He was bound to notice the movement at some point. Anyways, very exciting video, being hunted is definitely as much fun as being the hunter, especially against players who really knows their stuff as these (remember again goodfaith hat is on) seemed to do. Tovervlag 344 Posted February 9, 2015 I hope this was the case. If so than they did a really good job.I just figured that because I was flanking and I was in cover of the bushes, he wouldn't spot me. I didn't show a lot of me to be fair. He had to be looking at the right moment. But I should've probably stayed in the bushes where I could almost see everything. Spearmint 0 Posted February 9, 2015 (edited) I think its pretty wierd at 13:00 in the movie, The sniper aims downhill, and all of a sudden 3-5 secs later he watching your way, even when you are behind the tree. " looks of it" maybe he had friends covering the surroundings for him? At the point you sneaking towards the house, i think i can see the guy leaning out from the corner of the house or atleast some sort of a shadow? its hard to say but i think i see smoke from the "shadow at the corner" when you get shot? this while two people running uphill towards the house " -left- of it from your/our perspective ;) Really enjoy you movies and how you consulting and thinking out loud with you viewers Hope my english is understanable!
