Nvidia Card Low FPS improvement

Recommended Posts

[this is for people that play dayZ with less than 30 fps]

Step 1:Go to the nvidia control panel and click on "handle 3D settings" and go to "program settings" then go down to "maximal for rendering frames" (or pictures, im translating).

Step 2: choose the setting 8. if you have the newest nvidia driver it is possible the value will only go to 4, if so then go to http://www.geforce.com/drivers/beta-legacy and download an older one.

Step 3 (optional): it is recommended that you mix with settings that sais you will get better performance like texturefiltering and set them to high performance and on/off depending of what the description sais.

result: you will now hopefully experience higher frames but its pretty much guaranteed that your gaming experience will feel smoother on lower frames. its an awesome feature that works especially well with ArmA 2.

you will probably not notice any or much difference if you play with more than 30 frames per second (fps).

I shall try this. This could help a LOT of people out as it's unique to your post.

On behalf of my struggling GTX560M, I say thankyou!

I'd truly hate to look at this games programming, they must have severely fucked up on the graphics side, it's weird that they didn't fuck up the physics though o_O!

Thanks,

Drue
