Unable to move or open ESC menu on some servers (FR1, FR2, FR3)

When I (as well as my friend) join specific servers, namely FR1, FR2 and FR3, I load in and can look around for only a few brief seconds before my screen fades to black. I cannot bring up a scroll menu, move (or maybe just hear myself move), look around or bring up the escape menu. I am forced to Alt+F4 or close Arma OA with the task manager. I have had much luck with these servers in the past, while still on the same update of dayZ, but recently, my friends and I have not been able to to play on these servers due to the problem we face.
