VidKo 53 Posted January 27, 2015 Hi all! Since about 1.8.3 was released or soon afterwards I started getting micro stutters in the game. They are most noticable when moving fast (running, driving,flying) and looking at an object sideways (like a tree, bush or house you're running past). The movement should be fluid, but instead it's jerky/stuttery and it's really annoying. FPS are not a problem. Except in Elektro and Cherno well above 50FPS at all times. I tried everything, from testing/switching hardware, reinstalling complete system, game, changing graphics drivers, changing game settings. I can't pinpoint the cause. Any ideas? nexventor 429 Posted January 27, 2015 I had this on every DayZ mod and standalone since I can remember. Got worse in the last 3-4 months of SA but doesn't happen on any other game to the point where I would get massive freezes when driving. I thought my GPU was trashed and after replacing it and still suffering the same problem a uninstall of SA and moving it from my HDD to my SDD fixed my problem instantly. Looking at your specs you have more than enough power, it comes down to either what i suggested above or a problem with an individual part failing. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
geryon 180 Posted January 27, 2015 (edited) I have the same problem and numerous players have the issue as well. It doesn't matter if the server is full or empty. I'm curious if it's related to battleye. I might try it on a test server to see if the behavior exists with battleye removed. Edit: Ran the test server without battleye and it was smooth as silk. vinyljunkie 165 Posted January 27, 2015 Hey, I think it's BE related as well (realized it after playing on kichilron's test server that didn't have BE enabled), very smooth.Also, I think the glitched barrels introduced in 1.8.3 might have something to do with it.
