Random Deaths/Unconscious

Searched forums...couldn't find a suitable post.

 

What is the deal with randomly dying or becoming unconscious? I was walking on some flat grass in a town and 'UHHH'. You are unconscious.

 

No bullets, no footsteps, nothing.

 

Is there a reason for this? A hacker? Annoying ass bug?

 

I had so much gear and then this happens...

Where you Starving or Thirsty?  Was your screen gray?  Need more details, also, Alpha.
