Game Not Loading? Help Me

Hello survivors of the Dayz fourms I come to this fourm to ask for some help about my game.

When I launch my game on Steam it will show a box saying "Preparing To Launch Dayz"

I left it for 20 minutes and the box would start to reappear and it will never let me in the game.

If you guys could help me that would be great.

 

Things I have tried:

Uninstall are reinstall game

Varivy the game files

What are your computer specs and version of windows?

I just googled your problem and a few solutions that I found were
 

1) Launch Steam

2) Right click on DayZ

3) Go to Properties

4) Go to Set Launch Options

5) Type "-window" (without quotation marks)
6)Click ok and launch dayz
 

If that fails

1) Launch Steam

2) Right click on DayZ

3) Go to Properties
4) Go to local files
5) Click on browse local files
6) Go into the folders _CommonRedist > DirectX > Jun2010
7) Run DXSETUP.exe
8) After going through the setup launch dayz


You may also have a virus scanner of firewall that is interfering, Disable them temporarly and try dayz again.

If that fails update your graphics card drivers and do some windows updates as someone reported their problems went away after doing that.
