Tents inside trees and on slopes.

I found a camp today with 3 tents all 'inside' a tree and on a slope.. clearly this is not 'flat ground free of other objects'.

Is there some trick to getting a tent pitched right next to a tree or is this some kind of nasty hack?

Open gear menu.

Attempt to place.

Move a nudge without closing gear menu.

Attempt to place.

Repeat until it goes down. You can put them almost anywhere.

Just be careful it IS possible to put them out of reach.
