arma 2:OA wont start up

[tacocat12345 0]

so whenever i try to start up arma 2 everything works fine and dandy and stuff, then i go and try to play dayz and i get the little rectangle but it fills all the way but the last 2 checks never finish, so after a while a message pops up saying this

" File C:\arrington\Documents\ArmA 2 Other Profiles\tacocat12345\tacocat12345.ArmA2OAProfile, line 0: config: .:. 'Z' encountered instead of ']' "

i have no idea what this means , im playing it through steam and i have already tried deleting it and re downloading it and that didn't work 

some one please help

 

edit:i went in a deleted my account and now the game runs and i get to the screne that says the company that made it but then i get 
"bad serial number"
