Help! screen too big

so i just bought the game and i am super excited about it but as soon as I started up the game my screen resolution was way to big. So I went to settings and tried to change it but it only lets me go up to 1280x960. If there is a way to get my sceen not so puffed up please tell thanks

your problem= thats the rendering resolution , not the normal resolution, you need to go on Hud setting or something like that, but its the first option in video settings, there you can change the resolution, after that , restart the game, and then youll be able to change the rendering resol.
