Mass Server Rollback?

In light of all the server errors that have caused a huge amount of players to be spawned back at the coast (especially for those that were spawned with all of their gear deleted), are the devs considering doing a rollback? A lot of players died before they even got a chance to figure out what was going on. Fortunately, I was warned before hand and logged in at the right time to move north but I can't say the same for hundreds of other players that had their characters ruined because of it.

Or is it really that unreasonable? Most people I have asked are praying that there will be some sort of restoration or correction for the spawn errors.
