Extreme internet issues. (Resolved)

Recommended Posts

DayZ seems to cause my internet to go "limited" with the yellow exclamation mark extremely fast, during the time that it started I assumed that it was my own internet with its own issues, so I got it replaced. When I started playing dayZ again I noticed my internet would go down every two hours, I have descent bandwith and this is only happens when I'm playing dayZ and it's somewhat hindered my ability to play. I'm not putting this in bug reports because it doesn't seem to affect any other user that I've asked, and is more of a personal issue. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Resolved: Using skype with friends whilst playing took up too much bandwith.

Well for one thing I do know for a fact that the server browser causes a serious spike in my bandwith allocation. Other than that I'm not quite sure what your issue is.

Have you installed the latest driver for your network card?  Have you checked if power management is enabled for your network card?  If yes then disable it.  Those are the two I'd start with.
