Remember, @DayZ or (optional) the beta patch should be on your game when playing DayZ.

Having anything other than those two can affect it drastically

yeh double check u got EVERYTHING installed correctly. and when its installed correctly make sure u running it correctly... i swear half the problems with the servers is too many fail installs etc trying to join.

DayZ 1.7.1.5 now requires you to get the Beta Patch otherwise you will have problems connecting..

Is this the BIN error that you get upon joining a server? Because I get some bin error for weapons EVERY time I join hahaha. Also, I played arma 2 for about a year with that problem, it's not dayz related, but I have the steam copy, have verifide the files well over a dozen times.

Every single time I verify the files it says 'one missing file, will download for u brah.'

So I go "thanks steamguy, mind if I verify that file one more time?"

'Yeah brah, lets do it.'

'oh brah, you're missing a file I'll get it for ya'

But it always works, so I gave up on it. I just click ok on it lol
