Folding rifle stocks

I don't know if maybe this is already planned, but being as there are folding weapon stocks in the game now, I feel they should both function and serve an actual purpose. For example: When I "sling" my AKM w/Underfolder Stock, the stock should fold up on the weapon just because it would make sense to fold it when slung. Also, if you drag the weapon into a pack, the icon should change to folded and take up the same inventory space it would if you removed the stock (with mag inserted, which is I believe 18 slots), but maybe let it take up less space if a mag isn't inserted (maybe 10-12).

 

My reasoning is that AK's with folding stocks are supposed to give an advantage in their ease of mobility and how much space they save their user. In order to achieve a balance you could give a SLIGHT decrease to accuracy that would really only affect the longer range shots (300+ m) but only on the underfolding and metal side folding stocks (reasoning here is achieving proper cheek weld for accurate shots is not as comfortable). The polymer folding stock should still retain its accuracy since its (at least in my experience) harder to find in good condition and is a quality piece of equipment.

 

What do you guys think? Anything to add/subtract?

I remember the devs saying they were working on a way for items to have dynamically changing size in the inventory so i think we'll probably see folding stocks become more useful at some point.  
One small thing, increased sway while using the underfolder would better simulate the issues with it rather than a loss of accuracy, it would have the same effect anyway.

yeah, I figured it would end up as sway instead of accuracy loss. Still too used to games like Planetside where the weapons are super inaccurate lol
