Hotfixes

Why do the devs not release hot fixes for Dayz, there are so many little bugs that hey could fix with a small hotfix, yet they feel the need to add something new whenever they update. I just personally think they should do hotfixes.

Because then everyone would be in here whining that their servers get taken down for maintenance and updates all the time.

There are hotfixes for important stuff. They will certainly not take the public hive offline like on wednesdays to fix a ( example from the last couple of days here on the forum ) AK handguard flipped upside down.

Also, we are actually not in the bugfix-phase in development. Alpha does indeed mean feature adding, and the Devs keep the game at an awesomly playable level on the stable branch.

EDIT: From experience, my guess is that your idea of "many little bugs that hey could fix with a small hotfix" is a bit off of reality.
