Making fire with a broken hacksaw blade

Recommended Posts

I should definitely show this to Peter after the holidays, awesome!

This is what I like about Dayz SA, the dev's actually peruse the forum, on a side note while watching the video I found myself thinking, is he using a HSS or bi-metal hacksaw blade? (I tend to overthink stuff, i.e. failing to prepare is preparing to fail).

Hes using a " 12 Inch 24T Protech Safety Blade " i beleive its HSS but i'm quite not sure. Looks pretty much like a random one he found in his shed.

From past experience safety blades are usually bi-metal, less prone to breaking during use.

Would be nice to make a fireplace like this (not so detailed obviously, but with a small stone and a hacksaw)
