Question about Tents in Standalone

Once I find a tent and place it on a Persistence server and put gear into it....Can I change to other servers and then come back to the server I placed my tent and the tent still be there? Or once you leave the server you placed your tent, the tent disappears?

I also have a question regarding tents since it's been a few months since I've played. Where is a good place to find one? Where do they usually spawn?

If you place a tent in a persistent server, the tent will stay in that server even if you go play on other servers.

At this moment you need to take the tent in your backpack/hands every wednesday (maintenance).

 

I found my first military tent this week only to lose it a day later when suddenly 0.52 was pushed to stable :(.
