Road Map - Achievements

I remember some time ago I saw a video from a conference where Dean said they will be adding some Steam Achievements to the game, but in the latest dev road maps I've been unable to see this particular point. Is this still a thing? Altough I don't find it necessary or functional at all (for any game) would be amusing to be recognized by the game when you do a specific task (like fixing a leg or hunting a deer from a certain distance)

Achievements are cool, and in a way add some replayability. People might fire it up just to go achievement hunting. Maybe also good for forming goals for people that have a hard time finding stuff to do. The mods got some achievements now, not steam ones, but I got a "litterbug" achievement the other day after eating so many cans :)
