quick questiong regarding -mod for dayz sa

ok so what i did was made a ram disk 10gb to hold the addons folder. i still have the original folder but i put in my launch parameter -mod=E:\Addons is this the right method?

i play on a AW17 so just trying to add to the frame i have i going good for me in cities 30-45. i remember i did this somehow for exp build so i can switch very quickly between stable and exp but i forgot if this was the right method.
