Havent been playing for bunch of months, have 2 questions.

I see private servers are up and running, i started playing on one few days ago.

 

Questions.

 

-Are tents permanent and usable? In a way that they do not disappear. I google around and see that there is some talking about persistent things in dayz, but also that they arnt working as they should?

 

-I killed few guys already in a gunfight, and i always seem to get this problem where they have no items in inventory, but also i cant use their bag as it appears full...and i cant seem to find any solution on internet?

1. Depends on the server. The permanency is not always working as intended, especially when it comes to loot spawning. So some servers have it on and some off. If it's on, then yes the tents are working (although you have to pick up yer stuff on wednesdays when they do server maintenance or you lose it).

 

2. Just take something from your inventory and put it in theirs - this usually solves it. Hah, but you'll lose the item that was in the slot you put your own stuff in, I think.

-like ivar said, if the server you play in is a persistent on server, tent's and persistent storages such as back packs will work as intended however they may do a wipe on Wednesdays so you should pick your items up before it. however persistent is a W.I.P too, they are working on it to be better and better.

 

-this one happen because some inventory bugs/issues. items can't refresh their status correctly and in a proper way. there is some solution like drag and drop an item into the storage,if it's a back pack pick it up and equip it, pick the storage up, log off then log in. (this also can happen for persistent storage such as tents and back packs so if you can not find your items, doing some of this solutions will help you )

+ The storage bug kind of happens to some rifles as well. The ones where you can switch attachements like AKs and M4s. Sometimes when I kill someone or find some dead body and try to get their gun, the swappable parts are invisible and the gun is not working. Does not show the attachments in inventory either. When you log off and back in again you can see the attachments and can use the rifle.

Ok thank you guys for help, and here i am again confused.

 

-i cant zero my AUG, it just does not budge.I smash pg up and down but it is locked to 300. Is it just me?

 

-I lost my cold /warm indications, while my character was shaking when i would look trough scope or binoculars.... i found out on google that i need to lit up a fireplace and just warm up (even tho there is no sign that im cold except from shaking).....well the shaking is gone for sure, but "My face melted" + "im burning" as it said in the system message, and now im pretty much dead blurred, although i fix that with going into video settings and out.....but the fact that im burnt is bothering me. On the plus side, im not shaking and my char preforms just good, except i do not have the "healthy" indication nor "healing" even tho im light green on food and drink?
