persistence and Tents

  Sorry if this has been beaten to death with posts, I couldn't find a definitive answer.  I found a tent,  I was wondering if it's worth deploying and leaving gear in it, Or will it dissapear due to a random crash ect.

If I remember correctly, every wendsday they disappear so you have to pick them up on tuesday and deploy them on thursday.
