Loading is stuck :/

All goes well when i use the launcher. when i try to join any server i just get in for 5 seeconds and then there is a loading bar and it says loading over it, rest is black. It does not go anywhere else then that, nothing happens, as it seems to be stuck. I bought Arma 2 Combined operations on steam. Because one of my mates Recommended the Day Z mod. But as it does not work i am quite dissappointed.

Same for me. Was working fine for me last night, then a server I was on restarted and after that I can't get into anything. Always stuck on the loading screen. Friend I was with during the server restart hasn't had any problems though so not sure if it has anything to do with that. I've tried verifying integrity of game files and reinstalling battleye to no avail. Really hoping it's a server-side issue that'll be fixed or something and I won't have to reinstall (especially because reinstalling doesn't seem to have solved this problem for anyone who's had it on other threads I've seen).

Try some other servers... There have been a lot of problems with DDOS attacks recently and a few hotfixes. Many servers may still need restarting or updating in order to be fully functional.

Double check your game client and DayZ mod is also up-to-date and the servers you are joining are on the same version.

If you can't manage to play, I recommend playing a different game for now and try again tomorrow. You could also play standard Arma 2 to get used to the controls and gameplay, if you are new.

Keep in mind that the DayZ mod is still in Alpha test, you need to be very patient.

Same here, stuck on the Loading screen with a full bar above it. Can't seem to join any server, despite having reinstalled everything. I can't even play on my second account, whilst a lot of other people seem to be able to play just fine. Perhaps our character data is corrupt? This usually happens during a server restart or crash, which could potentially corrupt any save data.

Sounds like a new glitch, if its character based there is not a lot you can do about it except trying to connect to anything. If you get the loading bar, just step away from the computer for a while and do something else. Could take a while for the client to see there is something wrong and do something about it, if you end up in the debug forest well atleast you are in-game.

Try doing a fresh DayZ install, delete the @DayZ folder in the operation arrowhead folder, deinstall Sixupdater, reinstall it and install DayZ from the launcher.

For the rest i can just say keep trying to connect if you are sure your install is fine and keep an eye on the forum for any official announcement how to fix it.
