worth buying

Hi.

 

So a long story short:

 

I played Dayz mod, steam got hacked etc etc, couldnt play anymore.

I made a new steam name, bought the standalone DID NOT LIKE IT, No guns, no Zombies..

Now to the actual question:

 

Is it worth buying Arma 2 combined operations 19,- just to play the Dayz MOD?

Is the mod still active, meaning lots of players etc?

Did they do any type of optimizing? cuz from what i knew, the game ran horrible on my i5 3570k gtx 780.. =\

 

Please, tell your thoughts!

Definitely have optimised it, even server owners try to help players squeeze out more FPS. 

 

Also, it is still VERY active. 

 

The game runs fine on my i5 4690k and GTX 970, you'll have no problem running the game on 1080p.
