Etherious 907 Posted December 9, 2014 It would help better if you just posted the parts instead of a picture. :P

huf757 82 Posted December 9, 2014 (edited) That is a fine set-up. Unfortunately dayz scales horribly on the cpu and is a cpu dependent game. It also runs better with intel processors then AMD. With that being said take that fx processor you have there up to a easily obtainable 4.5 ghz overclock and with what appears to be a sapphire 280x 3gb oc video card you shall have an enjoyable time. When and if they ever get the cpu scaling fixed you will have a hifg FPS time as well. I am an intel fanboy but I do not think AMD is so terrible. Some will come on here and say AMD is shit just ignore them. It is true it will not run mind blowing FPS but neither does intel at this stage of development. Enjoy it is a nice system. umberfive 89 Posted December 9, 2014 It is okay. I have a FX-8320. Given the bad multi core support, it should run the same on your cpu as on mine. It is acceptable when playing on moderate settings, but don't expect too much. At this state you cannot compare DayZ to any other "complete" game. Your graphics card is better. I have a R9 270x Toxic. My FPS are between 15 - 50, depending on where I am in the game.
Etherious 907 Posted December 9, 2014 lol my friend has the part names on a paper that i don't have, and did not really feel like looking for the names of everything lol :PWell, bug him to send you the information. :P Also, it looks alright, just don't expect max settings at 60+ FPS. :) Make sure to modify your DayZ.cfg to get better performance. Another thing to do is to use command lines which also increases performance.

ChainReactor 922 Posted December 9, 2014 thanks for the reply, I got the fx 6300 because I'm trying to stay on a budget but I will evantually upgrade to an i7 If it's only for DayZ, an i5 will do the job just well. But keep in mind this game is in development and a new renderer is about to come, so don't build your rig with only the current DayZ in mind.
