Jezza93 44 Posted December 8, 2014 First of all I've not played the game in a few months before today but I did get a tent and some great loot just before that hiatus. But I got this tent on a non persistent server, am I right in thinking non persistent and persistent don't intermix. And if so, is a tent in non persistent useless? And no, they do not work on non persistent servers because they do not persist after a restart

Zyryanoff 227 Posted December 8, 2014 Anyway. Don't forget to pack up it before Wednesday.
jukaga 271 Posted December 9, 2014 Until they stay persistent and there is no longer a need to pack them up every Wednesday they for me at least are a pointless exercise in futility. All the time hiding it, filling it up only to have to pack it up and move it to do it all over again is time you could spend looting new gear. If it floats your boat, fine but I don't see the point outside of bug testing them to even bother.

DevoX 3 Posted December 10, 2014 (edited) So if i were to pitch up a tent on a non-persistent server and the server does its usual 2 hour restart or whatever, when i log back in the pitched tent will have disappeared? Also, ive noticed that its much harder to find loot in persistent servers. Does the persistence of the server effect the actual spawn of loot as well? If i loot a house of all its items and the server restarts, will the items have re-spawned, or is me looting that house persistent and the house will be empty until Wednesday?
