Preparing to launch problem - cannot play game.

I have seen many threads about this however mine is slightly different. After the update I cannot get onto dayz. The grey box appears saying "Preparing to launch" and then it disappears after a second. It then reappears and disappears constantly.I have left it for a while and i've tried disabling firewall etc but nothing works. I even redownloaded dayz to see what that would do. Please help:P thanks

Ok, then try to launch the game without steam.

 

Go to your DayZ folder, right click DayZ_BE.exe and run it as administrator.
